What makes a superhero? Some would say a cape, a cowl, or a stretch of spandex would be a factor. Some would point to members of law enforcement or branch of armed forces as superheroes. Still some would say that the mere act of waking up and facing the challenges of a new day can be the work of a superhero. They are all absolutely wrong. There is only one thing that makes a real life, real world, actually doing it superhero. And that is assaulting people with pepper spray. Or at least that seems to be a major lesson I learned from Phoenix Jones, America’s First Superhero. This Issue of Red Six we go over the origin story of Phoenix Jones and the creation of the Rain City Superhero Movement.
