BEHIND THE SCREAMS WITH TRAIL OF FEAR HAUNTED SCREAM PARK
This week the crew of Red Six to Golden Corral is joined by Bob and Eric from the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Parks for a discussion about one of the great Halloween traditions, the Haunted House. The tradition of haunted houses as they are known today has it’s roots in the 1930s when families converted basements into Halloween attractions for neighborhood kids as a distraction from some of the holiday’s more delinquent activities. Since then the tradition has turned into a multi-million dollar industry with over 1200 individual attractions across the states every holiday season. Located in Lawton, the Trail of Fear began as a single attraction in 1998 with a small tent and outdoor maze. Today the Trail of Fear is the largest haunted attraction in Oklahoma, the #1 highest rated haunted attraction in Oklahoma, has been ranked in the top 31 haunted attractions in the USA, and continues to grow each year attracting thousands of visitors annually. Special guests Bob and Eric bring us behind the screams to reveal secrets of the design and psychology that goes into making one of America’s top Halloween experiences.
Also a reminder, if you are in the Oklahoma City area be sure to support a great charity by attending the Extra Life at Game HQ, October 6th starting at 8pm and ending October 7th at 8pm.
